Don Brewer CCIM
Don has been in the real estate business in Knoxville, TN since 1995 and formed Realty Investment Services in 2000. During that time he has been involved as a principal or broker in office leasing, office development, land development, retail leasing, and income property sales. He served as President of the East Tennessee Chapter of CCIM in 2003. Before coming to Knoxville, he owned and operated a business in Dallas, TX. Don brings a broad range of practical business experience, strong interpersonal skills, along with expertise in real estate financial analysis.

Mitchell Taylor CCIM, SIOR

Mitch has been in the commercial real estate industry for 20 years. During this period he has worked with national companies such as ABB, Ruby Tuesday, Team Health, Equitable Life Assurance and IBM to name a very few. Mitch is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a BS in Economics, and he was an officer in the US Army. He holds both the CCIM and SIOR designations.

Jake Brewer - Affiliate Broker
Jake Brewer joined Realty Investment Services as an affiliate broker in 2009. His primary responsibilities include site selection, leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions of all property types. After graduating with a degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Tennessee in 2006, Jake joined First Southern Mortgage in Nashville as a commercial real estate analyst. At this position, he worked with a senior producer arranging permanent financing, construction loans, and equity placements for commercial properties totaling over $100 Million. In his first year with Realty Investment Services, Jake completed approximately 200,000 square feet of commercial real estate leases, acquisitions, and dispositions. Jake is currently a CCIM Candidate , a member of ICSC and NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties). He is also involved with NAIOP's Developing Leaders program.

John Voss - Property Manager

John serves as a property manager and business manager for Realty Investment and joined the firm in 2008. John came to the firm after 13 years with Anderson News Company as a national account executive to national retailers such as Walgreens, Kmart, Rite Aid and several leading regional retailers, prior to that John spent 10 years in operations with a major department store retailer. John is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a degree in Public Relations and Management.

Eddie Carrell - Property Manager

Eddie joined Realty Investment Services in July of 2009 and serves as on-site manager for the Parkside Centre Complex. Prior to that he was the Director of Engineering and Maintenance for Goody’s Family Clothing for 17 years and oversaw the facility management of 500,000 sq. ft. of distribution and 135,000 sq. ft. of office space. Prior to that Edie held facility/warehouse management positions for The Appeal Group in Louisville, KY., and Marshall’s in Atlanta, GA. With his maintenance and engineering experience Eddie has a wealth of building and mechanical system knowledge. Eddie retired from the National Guard in 1991 after 20 years of service.

Dan Adkins - Affiliate Broker
Dan Adkins has been an active entrepreneur in the Knoxville business community for his entire adult life. After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University in 1979 with a B.B.A, Dan opened a chain of retail stores that he ran for over 24 years. In 1997 he sold most of his businesses and retained the commercial properties. In 1998 he started an auto manufacturing and fabrication business which he operated for six years. For the past 20 years Dan has invested, managed and leased retail and office/industrial properties in the Knoxville area. Currently he is concentrating his efforts in North Knoxville, Oak Ridge and Anderson County.

Joe Kirk - Affiliate Broker
Joe has over 20 years of experience in sales, property management and commercial and residential development. He is active in the leasing and management of a family owned portfolio of office, retail and industrial properties. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Economics. Joe is a Knoxville native, a member of the Rotary Club of West Knoxville and is active in Sacred Heart Cathedral.
